Project: Two-minute live action, story-based video introducing World Account to the US market. The client wanted to target small business owners with an inspirational vibe.
My role: As a freelance writer for RUN Studios, I was responsible for ideating the video concept, conducting background research, and writing a script that married visuals and narration.
Materials: The client provided a product one-sheet and a breakdown of their target market.
Process: I conducted background research into the product, including reviewing past WorldFirst videos to get a sense of brand voice. As I didn't have a client-provided tagline to work from, I came up with the uniting theme of "taking flight" to tie the video together under an inspirational umbrella.
I provided a first draft and worked with the producer to incorporate producer and client notes into a final draft.
After watching the final video I signed up for a stained-glass class. It seemed like the zen thing to do.
